“Earning 10 Billion KRW in 4 Hours” Lee Da-hae Reveals Lavish Life in China “Company Got Me a House in Shanghai, I Came Empty-Handed”
On Nov 16th, Lee Da-hae uploaded a video titled “Shanghai House First Reveal (?)” on her YouTube channel “1+1=Lee Da-hae”.
Making her YouTube debut, Lee Da-hae introduced her Shanghai residence as her first content.
Holding her pet dog, she said “This is my Shanghai house. I really love this neighborhood” and revealed her grand mansion.
She described her neighborhood as having amenities like a fitness center, hospital, shopping mall and even a small stream. She explained, “This place is close to the company I work with in China. Since I visit China frequently and was staying in hotels too often, the company just got me this house. It’s a great company.”
Lee Da-hae revealed that she had been living in the Shanghai house for about 2~3 months. She shared, “I come here once or twice a month, but my stays are getting longer each time. The security guards here really like me. They call me ‘My Girl’ Lee Da-hae and give me a warm welcome. I’m so grateful.”
As Lee Da-hae toured the house, she disclosed “I didn’t buy anything in this house. Everything was sponsored by the company”, proudly highlighting the company’s exceptional support.
She showed off the neat and modern interiors, including the kitchen, main room, guest room, makeup room and vanity area.
Later, Lee Da-hae visited her company for a Chinese photoshoot. Observing the office filled with items, she said, “There are so many products here because brands send samples, saying, ‘We want to work with Lee Da-hae.’ The staff then recommend items to me after reviewing them.”
She also showed stacks of clothes, shoes and bags, explaining, “These are exclusively for me. Brands send me things like crazy. Every time I visit Shanghai, I come empty-handed because everything I need is already here. I’m so thankful.”
Over a candid meal with her production team, Lee Da-hae revealed her reasons for starting a YouTube channel.
She said, “I’ve been active on Chinese SNS for a long time. There was a time when it was hard for Korean celebrities to work, and they couldn’t do films or dramas. That’s when I started working actively in China. But I’ve always wanted to connect with my Korean fans. Since my life has become so eventful in China, I wanted to share that with them.”
Meanwhile, Lee Da-hae and Se7en tied the knot in May last year after eight years of dating. Currently thriving in the Chinese entertainment industry, Lee Da-hae previously revealed on MBC’s “Radio Star” that she made a staggering 10 billion KRW in just four hours through a Chinese live commerce broadcast, drawing significant attention.
In addition, it was revealed that she earned close to a 20 billion KRW profit by selling a building she purchased in 2016 for 4.6 billion KRW for 24 billion KRW in August last year.
